after playing around with it for a year.. i thought i would finally fix it... i dunno how tight carrier should be... people saying not too tight not too loose is juts right is confusing... is there a better way to put it? can it be kind of tight and still easily pulled out...??

Should be able to dangle the bolt from the carrier. It shouldn't fall off immediately, nor should it not move at all.
