    shoot down on Flatline 4500

Just wondering if you guys have watched your output needle on your flatine 4500?

mine's dipping really far - I just put on a ULE body and figured I'd put a slide check on my emag at the same time
    I never noticed this before

    output 900psi dips between 500and600

    normal? ideas?

thanks - going to run it over the chrono in a little bit

I've been suggesting that you flip your seat upside down on AO for awhile. It works much better. It gets a better seal, doesn't have shootdown and makes me not want to throw my 4.5K FL's across the room.

In order to properly do it, take off the front reg. body. Unscrew the adjuster and remove it and the spring pack. Now take allen wrench small enough and push on the piston and pop it out. Take it out and then lift the seat out of the pocket and flip it over. Set it down on a table with the seat in the pocket and pressed against the table. Drop the piston back in and push on the back of it with an allen wrench. You'll feel it pop into the seat. Now take the reg. body off the table and push the piston in the rest of the way, put the adjuster and spring pack back in and reassemble it. Make sure you get the reg. body nice and snug. There should be two alignment marks on the reg.
