I remember hearing once that there are different o-rings for 3ways depending on if you use co2, and if you use HPA.

if you are talking about cocker 3-ways, then no. even if you are using co2 on a cocker, they highly recommend using an anti-siphon tank. it would be highly unlikely that any liquid could get past your main reg and the pnue-reg to get in the 3-way.
