mass air leak

ok today I got my gun fromlitestab. IOts a z-mag with stock valve. I got macro and everything set it up all nice and neat. I put a Co2 on it just to see if it would shoot but then the burst disk on the Co2 tank started leaking air like crazy.

Also how do i adjust this thing. The fps. I heard i use a hex key on the back but tdo i stick it in long ways or something cus it doesn't seem to fit. The back of the valve lookt like a big bolt thread end is sticking out..i guess thats normal. any help would err help

is the back end a Nut or just threads on the outside of a tube?
if it's a nut then you need to back out the nut to raise your velocity.... the threaded tube is just under the nut. The nut is a older tournament lock
