When I install the roller switch under the trigger, and plug the end into the warp, nothing happens. I tested it out, and it worked for about 5 minutes, and now, nothing. Using a circut tester, I determined that both wires leading from the switch are good, and the warp functions when the manual feed button is pressed. However, the curent can be completed and the warp will Intellifeed when just the wires are touched. I purchased the correct roller switch, and so far I've gone through 3 of them. What the heck is going on here?
Intellifeed problems....please help

Knowing how people post in the tech forum, it would take me all day to get this question answered. I was hoping to get some game time in tonight.Originally posted by Benfica4ever
You should put this in the tech forum.

I had a similar problem. you have to make sure that the switch is positioned in a way so that it is activated by the sear during the trigger pull.
What your problem is: (more than likely) you didn't tighten the bolts enough to prevent the switch from moving around slightly inside the frame.
First, reposition the switch to where when you pull the trigger, you can here the faint 'click' of the switch being activated.
Then, while holding the switch still, put in the bolts and crank them down hard. Make sure that sucker doesn't move around. That should fix it. If it didn't, maybe you haven't wired it to the warp right...

Nope, that's not the problem. All the connection are right, my circuit tester proves all the wiring is correct. The problem is the switch, it just seems to stop working. Th switch is positioned correctly, and everything is in place. Occasionally, it will work, but I have to mash down very hard on the switch to activate it. For some reason, these switches keep getting blown out, and I have no clue how it's happening.

so even pressing on it with your finger instead of the sear, it wont work? I've not had any functional problems with mine, only adjusting the position...Originally posted by automagfreek

Make sure that the switch has enough room to deactivate, too... Just a thought.

ADJUST THE SWITCH CORRECTLY, and IF YOU KNOW IT IS THE SWTICH WHY ARE YOU ASKING WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, AND BE SURE YOU JUMPERS ARE SET RIGHT, AND TAKE IT TO THE TECH FORUMComment

When I use my finger, I have to mash down very hard on it, and it still only works 50% of the time. The switch has plenty of room to activate/deactivate, so I don't think that's the problem.Originally posted by Cryer

could there be any dirt/paint-grime in the switch? You're sure it stays clean (and dry)? Other than that, I'd say, just buy another switch...Originally posted by automagfreek

Maybe some of that residue from the glue got in there from the previous switch Chris.
