    inconsistent mag

    i have a crossfire tank and an x-valve, and im getting +-20 fps over the chrono, is there anything i should check or replace to make it better, i plan on getting an adj tank, but is there anything else?

    Are you chronoing the correct way? Any ReTro/Xvalve must be chrono'd in a specific way, otherwise you get the problem you are having.

    It could also be a reg seat issue. Take the reg off the valve assembly and check the reg seat & oring. They may need replacing or cleaning.

        You have an X-Valve so are you running LVL 10? I have found that if I am running the medium spring that has not been tuned to my valve I will get that kind of spread. Make sure that your o-ring is not to tight on the bolt stem. Go to the standard spring and see if the valve velocity stabilizes. The stronger the sring then the more force you have opposing the bolt as it goes forward. What works for me is to trim, in small amounts, the spring till I get the thing to stablize. There may be a better method but that is what I have found works.
