    E-mag electronics and Battery Question

My E-mag worked One tournament. In Hybrid and Mechanical mode only. The E-mode worked but was inconsistent in firing so I didn't use it.
I tried adjusting the trigger by the video and it will register on the shot counter but won't fire most of the time.
I tried the Plunger/Solenoid test in a different post that Tom replied to and it worked.
I have only 14.58 Volts in the battery after charging for about 12 hours.
The car charger is putting out 23~25 Volts volts.

****The first time I hooked the battery up to charge the charger it smoked for about 2 seconds but the lights seemed to function properly.****

Do I have a bad battery or charger?

Board is version 3.2 (thanks BlackVCG) 04/24/04
    SN: EM01782

    Low Battery

I forgot to add that the E-mag is now always displaying "Lo Battery"

If your battery is putting out ~14v after 12 hours of charging, you have a bad battery. It should be 17v+. Time to order a new battery friend.

Also, check the output from the charger by plugging it in and putting your test leads from the mulitmeter on the two screws that contact the battery posts. Output should be 20V+.

!!!!!!!!!!!!! It Happened Again !!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!

This same issue happened again after having the E-mag all redone by AGD Twice! Please read my new post I have invoice numbers on there as well.

This is the forum for trouble shooting your Airgun Designs products, including the Automag, RT, E-Mag, and WarpFeed. Also a great place to ask technical questions about non AGD products. An Airsmith's homeroom!

          thanks for any help.
