x-valve/ LX question

i just ordered an x-valve and was wondering if i would have to adjust the LX at all, or does it come ready to go? does it even come installed?

I just got my X-Valve last week and I had no air till the day I played and the factory installed parts for LX that were already in didn't work so I messed around with it and got it to work... But after playing that day, that night I sat down and I was gonna really tune it good because I had a minor carrier leak so just for the heck of it I through the same setup it came with right out of the box (the factory installed parts) and it worked I think my problem was in the first place is I didn't have the velocty turned up enough for it to work, so before you try any different carrier and shim combinations just turn your velocity up to around 280-300...
