    Internal/external sensor in warp feed?

Why does the AGD warp have an internal sensor and the PTP warp have an external sensor? Are there any advantages or disadvatages to haveing the sensor on the outside as opposed to the inside of the warp?

I have the AGD version of the warp feed, I would prefer this design to the other version due to the fact everything is in one package. The external sensor on the PTP version lends to the possiblity of more breakage, because you have to plug this sensor in to make the warpfeed work. The internal design of the AGD warpfeed requires a little more fine sensor tuning and breaking in than the PTP version, but you do not have to deal with the added hassle of plugging in the external sensor and ensuring that it doesn't get pulled out during game play, that and the AGD name, makes things a little easier to make the choice.

thanks, i'll keep that in mind. I'm still curious though, as to why ptp would change the warp by putting the sensor on the outside. Isn't there a good reason why they did this?

cant tell you why they did that with the sensor, but i would have to say that the PTP mounting brackets are easier to work with...especially if you have a zgrip!

The ptp version has a sensor in the bracket, so it is closer to the gun. Making it a little more sensitive, for markers with little recoil. Also, the ptp has a headphone jack so it can easily be hooked up to angles, bushmaster directly to the electronics <-(correct me if I am wrong here). The ptp version comes with some parts so it can be hooked up to virtually any marker.

Heh, if you get real bored with your warp, take a mic and plug it into the warp, adjust the jumpers and you will have a sound activated warp feed. ..

ha ha ha that would be sweet you could talk to your warp and say "warp feed..feed. and it would, then rig it into the emag electronic and have voice activated firing. ha ha ha, technology rules!!

J/k hope no one takes me serious about this one
