On/Off Problems

I got my on/off assembly today, but I'm having problems installing it. It didn't come with instructions so I'm just looking off the website. http://store.airgun.com/acb/showdetl...ID=153&CATID=6 shows the on/off bottom on top while http://store.airgun.com/acb/showdetl...ID=406&CATID=6 shows the on/off top on top. If the on/off top is on bottom, I have a VERY hard time understanding how it popped off, and the on/off bottom didn't (go to http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...threadid=87714 for the back story)

Also, I can't seem to get the on/off bottom out of my valve. If somebody could give me some kind of instruction, I'd relly appreciate it!

also, could someone show me a picture of what the on/off assembly should look like on a valve?

Both pictures are correct. The assembly picture the on/off assembly is shown how it goes into the valve. In the picture of the assembly, flip it upside down and that's how it goes into the valve if the valve is flipped upside down.

If you put in the on/off bottom without the on/off top in place and no longer have anything to grab onto on the on/off bottom to pull it out, unscrew the back half of the valve and stick a hard piece of wire down the hole at the outer edge of the inside of the front half of the valve. Not the center hole, but the other one. Push down on the wire and it should pop the on/off assembly out a bit and then you can grab onto the finger groove.

No good. I stuck a small allen wrench in the hole and couldn't pop it out. I also tried putting it in the on/off pin hole, trying to yank it up, but it also failed. It is just completely jammed in there or something. I really wouldn't be too excited about buying an entire valve assembly because of one stuborn part.

w00t, I finally got it out. I put a small allen wrench in short side in, found the oring groove, and pulled with all of my might, and it popped out enough to get it out.

Now I have a new problem. I put my gun back together with no problem, but when the moment of truth came, and I screwed in my tank, you could hear a somewhat slow leak. The gun sounded like it was gassed up, but when you pull the trigger, it makes a very noise, like there is some gas going through, but it wasn't actually shooting.
