    Carrier stuck

Ok, I think I'm in trouble here. The carrier is stuck in the power tube. And i do mean stuck. I have tried some oil nd can get the carrier to make it up to the threads in the power tube, but am unable to get the carrier out. Any suggestions?

Use the field strip screw and thread it in the carrier and give it a good pull.
    Sorry, I'm old

I figured what the heck and threaded a larger screw into the carrier to pull it out. I finally managed to pull the carrier out, I may have damaged it though. But, at least it's out and I have not damaged the power tube. I think.

I use a paper clip to pull out carriers. Just put a small bend in it at one end.

paper clips scratch brass carriers. Use the field strip screw. It is the best way for sure.
