    x-valve bumper

Yesterday while I was cleaning my gun I realized that there was number bumper behind the bolt. Later I found it on the floor.. dont ask me how it fell off. Anyway, the bumper that came with the v-valve is clear and it seems to be rubber. I've only put about 2 cases of paint through this gun but the bumper is already a little chewed up. The inner side of the ring is all cracked and breaking. I have an extra bumper but it's blue and it's made of a different material than the bumper that came with the x-valve. It is also a little bigger. Would it be bad to put this blue bumper on or should I order some more clear rubber ones? Has anyone else had them get torn up so fast?

oh and... i'm not sure when that thing fell out so it *might* have fallen out before I played I dunno. could I have damaged it if I shot 3000 balls with no bumper? I really dont think I could have missed it putting it back together but I wanted to make sure, cuz my gun was acting up a tiny bit.

Buy a new Rt bumper or two. The blue one was made for the classic valve, not the rt. I have put about 9-10 cases through my rt and 5 through my emag, havent had to replace them yet.

it should be OK, though you probably would get a little bolt stick without the bumper.

I did have one bolt stick problem. Thats what I was refering to when I sait it was acting up a little. It only happened once all day and I shot about 3000 balls. I'll order a few retro bumpers I guess since I'm going to use my other mag this weekend anyway.

The bumpers do get torn up a bit especially if you use the stiffer level 10 springs. Prolonged use without the bumper could mushroom the back of the bolt and/or damage the front of the valve.

The blue bumper works quite well. It is the recommended bumper to use with level 10 bolts until a new material is made available from AGD.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Well I do have the medium LX spring in there right now. I'm just going to put the blue bumper in there until I order something from AGD. I'm not gonna make a special order for just a few bumpers.
