Hey, I have an RT Pro and had a nitroduck preset tank. The preset regulator on my tank was set to about 850-900. I always knew if I had an adjustable tank where I could change the pressure output from the tank to about 700 that my gun would work better. BUT MAN, IT WORKS WAY BETTER. I just wanted to let anyone in my position know that if they are thinking about buying a different tank to do it. Mine works way better when the pressure into my gun is about 700. It's more efficient, quieter, and the trigger pull is lighter.:)

Remember, input pressure has a DIRECT effect on reactivity.
More pressure = more kick
Less pressure = less kick -

blow an o-ring? bah don't think so. i put about 3000psi unregulated into my classic mag by accedent when i was working on it the other day. it still fired, and still fires fine now to. i don't know how much the reg liked it though.MicroMag Phase 1

Yeah, isn't the air regulated to ~250 before it hits an o-ring? I always hear that a lower input pressure is gentler on the internals, but other than the reg spring, is this true?

Well, if you think about it, there's an oring on the reg piston, that sees the incoming tank pressure.
But after the reg, the gun will see 400psi. The ball will see 60-65psi.Comment

dayspring the ball see's the same pressure as the output of the reg. for it to drop to 60-65psi there would need to be another reg after the main one. and there isn't. a 65psi mag won't even fire. it takes more then that to move the bolt spring.MicroMag Phase 1
