Stock body rail... will it accomodate a forgrip?

Ok, I got my first mag used, so I have a question.. Will a stock body rail accept a gas-through or other type of forgrip readily without modification? This might be a really stupid question but it's late.. and i'm curious..

    thanks

    yup

but not without modification...if you look at the front of the body rail, there is a partially drilled hole...you just have to finish making the hole, and the foregrip will fit.

i have pics if you want....email me at [email protected]

If you want a gas thou, you also need a vertical adapter kit. This is the vert adapter and the hose and fittings needed to hook it up. But yes, Alf is right, you have to finish drilling the hole in the rail.

Sometimes you can just knock the hole out. As for a gas through I think they make some that don't need a vert adapter, and have a hose comming out of the side instead. Have to look into that.

mine uses no verticle adapter which means less money to spend and better looks :)
I'll see you in the center.
