    Hyper Mag problems

Ok i just got this hyper mag of my buddy and it's having a problem. I get the n2 screw it in.....everything gases up just fine. Then as soon as i shoot it air starts gushing from the barrel.....any ideas? I don't think i have the right front screw in the hyperframe....could that be it?

are talking about the front grip frame screw? if that is too long, you wont even get your barrel in there. just make sure it isn't poking into the body.

does the bolt go forward and then stick there until you degass it? can you push the bolt back with a squeegie?

sounds like bolt stick to me. if it is, you will need one of two things (or maybe both)

1)a new bolt spring. (should extent about 1/4" above the bolt when at rest.)
    2)a PT spacer kit.

Hey...well when i shoot it and the gas starts leaking out i can still shoot it but the leak won't stop. it's a pretty bad leak too..i have no idea what it could be? But once i shoot the and the gas starts leaking i can still shoot it i mean it don't sound like the bolt is getting stuck.

        ah....ok.......easy fix

pull the trigger and hold it. does the leak stop?

if yes, then the PT o-ring is bad, replace it.

if no, then the on/off o-ring is bad, replace it.

I suspect that the pt o-ring is the problem. if replacig the o-ring does not solve the problem, then you have too long of a Pt spacer in there, get a shorter one.

You can't do that with a hyperframe. To accomplish the same thing push something (like an allen wrench) in the hole in front of the rear field strip screw. That will push up on the back of the sear and fire the marker.

ahh......I missed that small detail. (I thought he meant hypermag as in high pressure version)

no, there is a hole behind the field strip screw. you can manualy fire the gun by pushing an allen wrench in there.

that is the screw that holds the valve in.

yup, if you have a parts kit, there should be a couple PT o-rings in there.
