      Getting hit in the pneus...

      Its not a big deal.

Just a hassle to clean and there is no chance you'll catch a bounce

          Why?...

I like AGD. I like their company attitude. I loved my RT. I use other AGD products (warpfeed). I even recommend their markers.

I am simply playing better with this particular marker... right now. Its probably not the marker (although this one does work extremely well). I really don't like cockers. Although, I will be selling this for another cocker. MacDev Sonic.

            Sonic?

First of all which cocker do you have now? And I too think the new Sonic is beautiful, but isn't it made in Australia? Doesn't that make it hard to ship to them if you have a problem with it? When does Bel Sales come out with their new version of the Evolution? I just want you to know that I do see your posts on PBNation and you seem to know what you are talking about.

              Thanks!

First of all which cocker do you have now?
I'm shooting a Belsales Evoltion X with minor upgrades (an Eclipse Rokit/Blade trigger frame, Sonic LPR, AKA Lightning bolt) and sometimes a AGD WarpFeed (depends on the field) fed by a Wicked Air Sportz TurboRev.

And I too think the new Sonic is beautiful, but isn't it made in Australia?
Yup. They are nice to look at. The extraordinary attention to detail is what has endeared the Sonic Cocker to me. The body (before extensive CNC milling), grip frame/trigger, Ram and 4 way are from WGP.

Doesn't that make it hard to ship to them if you have a problem with it?
Nah. Gramps and Grizzly's Outpost in CA is the US Service Center. But my local shop has one of the best airsmiths in the county. Eric Kilgore -- Gateway Paintball. I have little fear of my markers going down during a game. Even if I didn't have such a great local resource, there are plenty of airsmiths that can get your marker working.

When does Bel Sales come out with their new version of the Evolution? New as in 2k2?... I think Smart Parts is already selling them. There aren't too many changes. New Ram... no shroud... smaller front block... Freak instead of boomstick. I think the internals are unchanged.

                Sonic over Evolution?

You would sell your Evolution for a Sonic? Is it because of the Red Valve or the looks of it? Isn't the Evolution a lot better than the Sonic? Why don't you just upgrade your Evo.?

                  The Sonic vs. Evolution X

No way to tell for sure.

The Sonic is brand new with many never seen before parts.

Sonic Hammer, Sonic Ying-Yang bolt, etc.

I wouldn't want to upgrade the Evolution's internals. I realize that they went thru much design/refinement to get its performance. I don't believe I know enough about cockers to improve that.

I have been hearing about the Sonic's development from its designers for a while. The combination of exceedingly well made components and plenty of refinement/testing builds on my strong faith in MacDev.

What I have found with cockers is that the combination of parts and their fine tuning is what makes the diff in performance. Not the addition of a single "great" part.

The EvoX is not very unique in its parts.

MacDev has taken great effort to improve many of the cockers parts as well as improved the operation of current parts. I believe they have succeeded. I am very excited to get mine! www.macdev.net/sonic_cocker.htm
