Can i run a max max-flo tank on my 68 classic auto mag. If someone could tell me that would help because im lookin at buyin one.

Just make sure you get the high pressure version.

No. There is a difference in the pistons also. The low pressure version will also have a blled valve on the top of the reg. If it is a high pressure version you will have an air fitting and gage on either side and plugs on top and bottom. The HP version has a range of 300-1000 psi.Comment

no with the new styles (not sure about old) all you need to do is change the springs

I have the new style Max Flow. Trust me there is a difference in the piston also. Now I have no idea what the performance would be if you tried to run HP with a LP piston, but there are two different pistons anyway. The bleed valve can easily be removed and replaced with a plug.Comment

ya, there are two different types of max-flo regs. the HP pressure ones, which have two springs. one for lower pressure and one for higher pressure. then they have a totally different low pressure max-flo that has the different piston. that model was designed to be used with the shocker and the imp. it has a little better flow rate at lower pressures than the high pressure tank's low pressure spring. if that makes any sense.
