    Level 10 night play probs

This weekend i participated in a 24 hr game. I have a mini with retro and LX, and my GF has a mini with x-valve, also both are warped. both markers worked great all day at 280 fps, but when we tried to chrono down to 250 for night play, our markers would not fire correctly. both would double feed and roll the paint out of the barrel, occasionally one shot would fire correctly, but then only a psst! after that. if i took it back to 280, everything wokred great...do i have to change something with the LX to chrono down? any ideas thanks for your help

I've heard clipping the short spring can help. It's not too big of a deal, since the short spring from the LX kit is the same as the stock spring, so it's not like you haven't got two just in case.

I use the short spring because it is the only spring that lets my gun cycle with the LX. It does not chop, but I don't know how it will act when cut.
