    Problem, pisssing me off!!!! HELP

I have a 68 classic, it has the original trigger frame, cut out to fit a doubble trigger, Here is my problem....

Sometimes when i shoot the gun, after the gun fires, air will leak down the barrel, until i try to fire several times, it sounds like when you pull the trigger half way and the gas leaks out, any ideas would be appreciated?

Sounds like bolt stick. If you've got LX, try dropping down a carrier size.

Tell me your exact set-up, & I'll tell you how to fix it (or someone else will)

I have a automag 68 classic, right feed, no internal upgrades, i have a 16" smart parts big daddy and a Drop forward with an on'off, as I said, the trigger guard is cut out to fit a 2 finger trigger., I am using C02.

And as to what cky shane said, I have no idea what the carrier is, I probably know what it is, but dont know it's name.

        it is annoying.................

        -THnak you for your help-Erik

I would remove the bolt and oil all your PT o rings and replace any of them that look damaged.

Carriers are part of Level 10, but since you dont have LX, it's safe to say it's not a carrier.

            Erik,

Sounds like liquid Co2 could be getting in your gun, freezing the O-rings, and causing the leak.

Anti-siphon tubes, installed in the Co2 tank, will help, but first, check (& replace) the PT O-ring, and oil it up well.

Also what was killing me for a while before I upgraded my Mag.

I had the same problem. It was a combination of ON/OFF and power tube in my case... It had not seen any oil for a long time, I removed all the o-rings, lubed them and put them back in. I also removed the AIR valve, and noticed I had "gunk" [technical term] built up in there from using CO2 for a long time. I cleaned that, and performed the basic maintenance covered in the manual. It it was back to 100%.

I upgraded to an x-valve and lv10.. and now I feel like some big tough guy, who walks a very small dog arround town. Sure everyone laughs for a second, until little Fi-Fi gets pissed and bites their ankles off.
