Well I just got my xmag and I'm having problems. I opened it up and charged the battery overnight in my Audi like the instructions said. Next morning I took it out, and it said lo batt, on the screen. When I would fire the trigger the screen would go blank, and the solenoid plunger would BARELY move. I figuered that it was possible that the Audi's cigerate outlet was at a low voltage so I put it in my Jeeps outlet which was clearly labeled 12v for 5hours. Same deal as before. Both times the light was green when I took the battery pack out. The magent which acutates the hall sensor is backed off enough, it was adding shots to the counter when I pulled the trigger, just it was very weak. I dont have a voltage meter available to me to test if the battery is giving off what it should be voltage wise. The battery also got very hot during charging if that means anything.

Typically, when the battery gets really hot like that, you have a dead cell.
Do NOT charge the battery overnight. That is the reason why these packs die. You should never have to charge the battery for more than about 4 hours.

The xmag manual clearly said charge it overnight the first time.
"Ensure that the battery has been charged overnight before first use."
