    X-Mag A.C.E. Warp problem

I have attached a Warp feed to my new X-Mag using the Airgun Designs signal wire. The warp is not turning when either A.C.E. mode 1 or 2 is selected, it will only work with it turned off. The jumper in the Warp is currently set to sense vibration, this is the only way it will work with the ACE mode on. Has anyone come across this before?

Drop a PM to RobAGD - I'll bet he can get you headed in the right direction.

Do you also have a jumper set for + input signal? You should have a jumper in the middle slot and one in the bottom slot (vibration).

If that's all set right, it shouldn't have a problem.

It was originally set to +5 signal only (no vibration jumper was set). I now have it configured for vibration only as it seems to work well in ACE & non ACE modes. I would have thought that the signal wire was the more reliable of the two methods, but since I still can't get a pulse in ACE mode it seems pointless to configure it that way.

BSOLOMON, how do you have your warp jumpers set to work with your X-Mag? Do you have a Warp to gun cable installed? I have tried every configuration possible and have not been able to get the Warp to work off of the trigger pulse only when the ACE is turned on. With the ACE off the signal wire setup works great. I'll use the vibration sense if I have to...

My gear, including my X-Mag is making the Fedex trip back from the east coast this week (too many problems attempting to fly with paintball gear anymore). Once it gets back I'll take a look and let you know the settings, but it is wired to the X-Mag for both sensing (intelli-feed) and power. The setup on the marker was originally done by Rob Hoover (RobAGD) which is why I suggested that you send him a PM (private message). Or, you can call him. He works at Pev's Paintball. You can find the phone numbers at www.pevs.com. He is usually at either the Fairfax or Streling store.

I contacted him and he suggested that I set it up for vibration and sense wire. I suspect though that since it doesn't work with sense only then when I set it up for both that it's actually working of the vibration part. When I have more time I plan to attach a volt meter to the sense wire to see if I get a pulse there in combination mode. Thanks...
