    real quick lvl-X question?

    OK I have th eone line Carrier in with two shims. I'm using the small spring and i have 850 psi going into the gun.

    My question, I put my finger into the breach to make sure the Level X was working properly and it did what it was supposed to, however it felt as if it was pinching enough to break a ball. It didn't hurt my finger but it was a bit harder than other Level-x's that i have done the same with. What can i do to make it softer should i go to the middle spring or does it have something to do with my Carrier shim combo?

      Go to the middle spring. Keep in mind that it's all a balance issue. You have to balance the tightness of the carrier and the length of the spring to the pressure the bolt is seeing (thats why you crank the velocity).

      So, put the mid spring in and turn the velocity up a pinch and it'll be softer.

              No prob. Also, try using it w/o shims. I don't run shims in ANY of my guns. (This vaies the point in the stroke where the bolt will vent air.)
