RT Pro valve ans classic valve?

Will swaping the valve from a RT Pro and classic work. Would you end up with 2 working mags or no? Rt pro body with classic valve and a classic body with a rt pro valve. I know that the sears would have to change but what else. I searched but could not find anything.

    Thanks

you cant change the sears, they are ment for the rail they came in (the rt one is threaded and the classic is a drop in pin)

Not only that but there is the tiny issue of the gas through banjo srew on the Classic RT that no only is a different size thread but need to pass air... Not sure how to bypass that as it's your input from the Classic's rail.

          on/off issue?

So I should use the stock sear in my classic rail. The RT Pro valve doesn't need the hole in the banjo, I don't think. Is there an issue that you need to match the on/off's with the sear as well? But don't rt series valves have a much different looking on/off's than the classic?

          Thanks

No no the sear is fine, what you suggested will work but the field strip screw holding in the valve on the RT Pro (and every other Mag except the Classic RT) is just a crew. Nothing special there.

But see the Classic RT's air input and field strip screw is the same thing. It's this big, o-ring striped, screw with air holes all over it and it's about 2x the diameter of the the RT Pro screw.

My question is, how would you:

a- get a crew to fit in the RT large hole and still get it to screw in and get air?

b- How would you deal with the RT Rail having this massive hole that dwarfs the little crew on the RT Pro (so that it does not damage/ding up the rail?)

Perhaps I should get a picture of what am talking about eh? I have both the RT and RT Pro.
