    At my wits end: Z-Grip

I got a first generation Z-grip (had the wings like the Benchmark 2x frame) that I'm trying to put on my RT Pro. I shaved the wings off so it now looks like the top of the I-frame.

Bolt is oiled. Tank output is 900 and the marker was originally chrono'ed at 280 with an I-frame. Marker shot just fine weekend before last. Z-grip works just fine on my Micromag.

I put the Z-grip on my RTP and gas it up. I hear the "click" that tells me the RTP is ready to rock. When I pull the trigger, there is resistance to the pull, but something is not working right as the RTP does not cycle. I tried increasing the input pressure resulting in a slight increase in trigger resistance, but still no cycle.

Anyone know what might work to get it to shoot? Should I increase the sear rod length? New on-off pin? New sear? Shave another 1/64th off of the top of the Z-grip?

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated. I keep telling my friends, Cocker Jocks the lot of them, that AGD makes one of the most (if not *the* most) reliable markers on the planet. Needless to say, not being able to use the Z-grip is forcing me to eat some crow.

How much gap is there between the trigger rod and the trigger when gassed up? If there's more than 1/16" or so, take up that slack by unscrewing the trigger rod.

There's zero slack. Heck, with the marker gassed up, I can't get a small screwdriver between the sear rod and trigger seat. No space and too much pressure to push the sear back. I just tried shimming the sear back 1/16th" and that didn't help out either.
