    my warpfeed adventure

Ok, not too long ago I was deciding whether or not to get the warp or halo b. I ended up choosing the warpfeed. When I got it I opened the packaged and went over everything that came with the package. Read the instruction sheet that came with it. It didn't have any details on how to mount it. I am very disappointed with this. Anyways I played around with it a bit to see how I could possibly get it to mount on my vert feed marker. After about thrity minutes of frustration I couldn't figure any way to mount it. It concluded to me that I had two options: option 1; buy the the addition adapter through PTP or option 2; ghetto rig it somehow. Option one would cost an additional 40 bux, so thats a no go for me. Option 2 would go through the ghetto route and find something to rig it with. Might work but chances are it'll prolly look like a p.o.s. I didn't pay 115 bux so I can rig it and make it look like crap so that I can have it working. I was told prior to buying it that it will fit any gun. To make matter worse the warp only feeds 16-17 bps in its current state, I would need to purchase the 12 upgrade to shoot 24 bps. Thats another 13 bux. If I did buy the adapter and 12v conversion it would total a little under 170 bux. I could've had a halo b with the new TE software for 115 shipped. What really frustrates me is that I need to spend even more money to get it to fit properly. Its like buying a marker and having to buy even more stuff just to get it to shoot...oh wait AGD already does this with their mags. As of right now I'm trying to sell off the warp. My only problem is that even though its new and never been used, its been open so I can't get the full amount that I payed for it. Therefore I had to include my revvy just so I can recoup the amount I lost in buying the warp. This experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth for AGD.

You didn't say what kind of marker you were trying to install this on?

I stated that its a vert feed. What kind of gun it is does not matter.

Sure it does. If it's not a Mag of some kind, you should have bought the Pro Team version of the Warp. It comes with different adapters for different guns. If you tried to save some money by buying the AGD warp and not installing it on an AGD gun, I fail to see how this becomes someone elses problem.

The feed rate is well publicized, and had you bothered to read ANYTHING on the warp before buying it you'd have realized the 12v adapter (or your own home-made version) was required to bump it over 20bps.

The whole point of the warpfeed is not speed, but rather hopper position. Comparing a Warp to a HALO is an apples/oranges arguement, since the HALO is a hopper, the Warp is a hopper-assist device. It's still dependent on the speed of the hopper attached to it after the first 10-12 shots.

Not knowing the detail of your marker I cannot say for sure. However, it is quite possible that you can attach it to your marker with what you have. I assume you have the 90* adapter. That is typically used to attach the hose to the marker. I'm assuming you understand how to mount the warp via the "adapter plate" to the bottom of the grip frame.

Like I said before, I was told that the AGD should work with my gun.

I take it this is the clear t-shaped looking elbow thing? If so I can't get it to fit the feed neck properly.
Yes I can get the mounting plate on the grip.

Another question that I have is why doesn't AGD include pics of what a properly set warp looks like. The manual if I can call it that seems so half a**.

Who told you the AGD warp will fit any marker? I have never heard anything but AGD for mags only and PTP for anything else.

Mainly bc there are many diffrent set ups. (vert/powerfeed/warp)

fine then why not show/explain how each are set up. I wouldn't think that would be asking too much to be included in the instruction.

You have AGD guns confused with cockers.

BTW- if they showed EVERY setup of the warp, they'd have a book to ship with every warp feed. Honestly, anybody with some MINOR mechanical knowhow and some common sense can set one up in 10 minutes.

no, I'm sure its AGD guns...cockers rip out of the box

I'm not asking for a bible sized manual here...just something more than a xerox sheet of paper thats all. Like I said earlier, I'm sure I can figure a why to ghetto rig somehow but it'll look like crap. The last thing I want is a p.o.s. hanging beside my oh so pretty gun.

If you think that you have to buy stuff to get an AGD marker just to shoot right, you're way off.

I got two words for you- RT Pro.

And I've seen stock cockers be OK but they don't "rip" unless you start buying stuff for them. Just the way it is.

How the hell do you have to ghetto rig a warp setup? Tube goes on warp and on breech/powerfeed. You MAY have to use the 90* adapter. Insert hopper. Plug in and go. Not that tough.
