    ULE Feed neck..

Does anyone else have trouble getting the feed neck off their ULE body?
I've tried to crank the thing off by hand and it didn't budge at all. Pliers isn't a viable option, and I'm afraid of putting too much force on it with a strap wrench or any other tool for that matter, since the body might bend under the strain.

    Any ideas?

P.s. Does anyone know where I could get an Angel warpneck? I was gonna resort to taking a hi-rise neck and cutting it down so my warp could clamp onto the tube..

Apply some heat to the feedneck with a blowdrier or pref a heat gun. That will loosen the locktite that holds it in place. Then you can unscrew it with a strap wrench.

it will have red loctite on the threads. When my 12 volt revy shell broke off in there i had to take it off to punch the plastic out. I asked the people in the AO chat and they said it shouldn't have any loctite....well I got a big long strip of rubber that we use to open jar lids, wrapped it around and twisted as hard as i possibly could. Finally i heard a pop and it loosened up....my hand was bleeding but it came off

Alright, sweet! Yea I was thinking that it had to have something like loctite red on it, since this was on as tightly as one of the screws on my autococker, which also had loctite red.

        Now where's my lighter?!

P.s. still, does anyone know where I can get a ready made angel warp neck?

I took out 6 screws with red locktite on my old RT... plain short allen wrench about 3" long... wasn't THAT hard

I was trying to unscrew my feedneck to see if there was any paint on the threads to cleanm off real quick but that thing don't budge
