I have the new nubbins need help

So i get these new nubbins couple questions

1)how do i put the o rings on over the nubbin to keep the tight barrel fit

2)second question if I don't put the o rings on how do i keep the nubbin in place without falling out and keep the tight barrel fit.

I was thinking about sanding the nubbin down but I think it would just make the nubbin more brittel

you must use the barrel o-rings. you can either size down the o-rings for a tighter fit or, push down the o-ring when inserting yoru barrel. there are many more methods for it in the main forum, check the first 1-4 pages for them.

The fit with the new nubbins seems to depend on the barrel. I put one in my J&J ceramic, and needed to lube the o-rings to get the barrel in and out smoothly, but my boomstick still fits the same. I would just lube the o-rings lightly with gun oil or silicone grease and call it good.
