Quick question: when did AGD start using the valve star warranty repair system? Anyone know the exact date or serial number? I searched for it, but all I found was reposts of the warranty information, not real dates or cut-off serial numbers. TIA.

No, CF00001 is a pre-star valve, and mine has one star and it's numbered CF58***.
My SmartMag/Minimag valve has no stars and its SM010**.
This leads me to believe that Minimag MM00001 is pre-star.

this is just a wild wild guess, but i wanna say they started the star valve program in like 98,i think, maybe 97, i know i had just really gotten into the sport when the star program started, but im luckey if i can remember what i ate for breakfast sometimes. well i hope this helps

Classic: CF36181
