Nitrogen Tank Leaks out air when i put it in my gun!

I am getting very angry, my Crossfire 88ci 4500 PSI nitrogen tank keeps leaking out air where u put in the tank on my automag rt/pro. I know its not the o-ring, it just leaks air constantly, everytime i just put in the tank.....i am getting very angry here, and some feedback would be great

Screw it in tighter, or replace the o-ring (even though you said this wasn't the cause).

Is it leaking back out through where you thread the tank into the ASA (air source adapter?) or comming from somewhere else?

Then it's gotta be your O-ring or the tank not screwed in well enough...

I had this problem with one of the Adapters I was using, it just kept triggering the release of air too early. I made sure the tank o-ring was good. Then I droped another o-ring down inside the adapter so it was resting in there.

I'd get the tank to screw in and it wouldn't leak anymore.. well I wouldnt say leak. it was more like venting heh.

I have this crappy diamond labs bottomline from way back. The problem with it was the on-off pin was too long -- it'd turn the tank on before the oring had gotten a chance to seal itself past the blowoff hole.

I had to get a dremel tool and carefully shave the little pin on the bottomline down -- at least to where it was no higher than the vent hole.

Aside from that, clean everything, make sure nothing's damaged, replace the o-ring, and lube the o-ring + bottle threads. You'd be surprised how much easier the process is when your bottle + ASA are cleaned and have a little oil on them.

            Definitely not on the A-Team.
