Air still in valve?

If i turn of the air to my e-mag so i can take off the valve. There is still air in the valve...even if i shoot all remaining shots that will fire.

If i put a pro connect to disconnect the line and bleed it...will this solve the problem?

Does a pro connect flow enough air?

i just unscrew my tank...it works, but i dunno what pro connect is, but if its quick disconnect, thae u can do it, i have

IIRC, a Pro-Connect will not belld the air out, it acts as an on/off. to bleed the air, you will need a Quick Disconnect. Possibly one of those purge valves from coopet-t too.

32 degree makes a slide check disconnect that's a little large but it works well for me and I running an X-valve.

A Proconnect will vent all the air out on the male side of the connector, but hold the pressure on the female side.

Here's a pic of how mine is setup - press the button and you dump all the gas from the valve and disconnect the line from the valve.

what about air flow through the pro connect?...notice any shootdown?

None at all - I've got proconnects on my X-valved E-Mag and ReTro'd classic and don't get any drop off when ripping - they flow fine.

I know Tunaman runs a Proconnect on his E-mag....and Manike on his X-Mag and.... etc :)

The only downside I've found with them is that if they've got full bottle output pressure (800psi+) behind them, they make a bit of a 'pop' when you release them and are hard to reconnect.

To solve that I use an on/off asa with my preset tank - like so:



I turn the asa off, shoot until the gun stops firing, then pop the proconnect - by that time the pressure is down to about 300/400psi and it's less scary to remove and easy to click back on. :)
