ok, i just got a new mag, but the macroline is leaking, the thing is i dont like macro, so im not gonna use it, im swiching to Stainless Steel. What i need to know is how long of a hose i need, im going to use a QD with it cus i know i need one. it does have a small drop on it, it loks like a cp flame drop, but im not sure. So, does anyone know how long of a hose i need, and where is the cheepest place to get some? also any one know where to get a QD really cheep too?

    First off, Welcome to AO!

Second, I'm guessing you want the hose to run form the valve right to the drop. Correct?

Try measurng your macro with a ruler or soemthing, and go by taht. or use a tape measurer to see how you ewant it and how long it will be.

I needed a 13" hose, but my drop is big, and I'm running directly from my drop to the valve. Also, I wanted it to go all the way up to the body, and then straight across to the valve.

If you liked the position that your macroline was in, I'd measure that and go with a length similar to that.

A 10 inch braided hose should be long enough. In addition to the STAINLESS STEEL quick disconnect that you will attach at the valve you will need two 90 degree hose fittings. Try this website, they have a good selection.

well, since it already has fittings and im gong to be at kapp today, i figure ill just go with macro, i may not like it but its really my only choice. im sure 12" will be long enough, and ill just buy a couple feet of it, its only 1.99 a foot.
