Sounds like your carrier is too tight not allowing the bolt to slide back to the bumper. If this happens, the sear will never come up and allow the on/off pin to open and recharge the front of the valve.

Remove all the shims when first setting up your level 10. Carefully select your carrier so that the carrier and o-ring gently slides over the end of bolt stem with a slight amount of resistance (not hard). Use the smallest bolt spring to start. Once you get the setup working you can change to a longer spring and go from there.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

You know the more I look at it it seems that the bolt will not slide far enough down the power tube. There is a 1/4 inch gap from the back of the bolt to the end of the power tube(where the blue washer goes). See the attached photo.
      Thank You

Take the level 10 parts out of the powertube and test fit them on the bolt stem. Then slide the bolt onto the valve without anything on the bolt stem or in the valve powertube. If you find any restrictions, then you know where the problem lies.

Your classic mag wouldn't happen to be an old rental mag? They have restricted power tubes and the level 10 won't fit. At least that's what I'm told.

Actually this used to be a rental at one time. They really made them different? That doesn't seem right. I'll try your idea, and let you know what I find.
          Thanks

Apparently, the rental mags had a restricted powertube to prevent velocities from being cranked too high on rental guns. The end result is that the longer bolt stem of the level 10 hits the smaller inside diameter of the power tube near the base of the power tube where it is restricted. You can have the powertube drilled out to the proper size.

Wouldn't drilling it out be complicated? How would I know the correct depth to go? Is this something I should have done at a shop of somekind?
              Thank for all the input!

You don't have to worry about the correct depth. The valve chamber is behind the powertube. You want to open up the passage the entire length of the powertube. The important thing is to get the correct size drill bit to do the job.

I'd call AGD and see if they can help you out. If not save up and trade that valve and some cash in for an x!

If I drill out the power tube, I still need to leave a ledge for the backing washer? right? I should only need to drill a hole the size of the bigger part of the bolt rod, right?
                      Thanks

Drill the powertube out to the size of a standard powertube. I haven't measured the internal diameter at the back of the powertube but someone here probably has.

O.K., has anybody measured the inside diameter of a power tube?
