A few price questions

Hey all, I was thinking about how much i NEED a mag, but don't have the money to get one, so I was thinking...
How much do you guys think it would cost me to build a classic mag or a minimag from scratch?
I know alot about the inner-workings of a mag by now, and with the aid of my brother's tech video (he's a former mag owner), and you guys, I think that I might be able to build one.
Also, if I were to build one, I could probably pass it off to my parents as an "educational journey on the road to becoming an airsmith". That way, not only would they let me spend the cash to do it, but maybe they can lend me a little moola as well.

So, back to the original question, before I get into where to buy and what to buy there, I would like to get an estimate of roughly how much it would cost to build a classic mag, or a minimag, from scratch. I would probably start off with a ULE body but a classic valve, and then upgrade when I get more money, but we'll see...
