What would make a LX powertube tip snap off?

Lots of fun at AO Day, but bad day for the RTpro.

The level 10 powertube tip snapped off right at the o-ring, leaving the threaded portion in the tube. Less than 800 rounds through it. Did i get a bad one, or is there another cause for this?

Yikes! I don't see that being your fault in any way shape or form. Even if you put EVERYTHING together wrong, there should be no mechanical reason it would break through solid metal! Call up customer service, I would think the factory would send you a new one for sure.

You might have overtightened it. It's only brass, not a very strong metal.
