How to get the power tube tip off a Minimag

I have tried the coin suggestion. The thing is like rock solid and I don't want to try too hard because I dont want to strip the brass indentions on it. Is this peice the standard righty tighty lefty loosey or is it the other way around. Please help me with this thanks.

yes its lefty loosey...

Try taking the coin and grabing the coin in a pair of plyers and using it that way. Quarter works best. Then give it a good twist. Counter clockwise. Or lefty loosey. Its o-ring just might be stuck on there real good. It should pop free.

yeah they can be tight at first i find that a allen wrench layed down and turned with 2 hands takes em off
