System-X tank leaking near burst disc; red thread lock in sight

Ugh. My SX 45/45 has developed a leak near the burst disc. I was going to just pull it and teflon it or something, but it looks like they put red threadlock on it.

How exactly do I deal with this problem?

Empty your tank then use either a heat gun or (carefully) a lighter to heat the area - the heat helps break the hold of the loctite.

Then get a big mofo wrench (make sure you get one exactly the right size or its rounded corners time) and put some welly into undoing it.

Hrm... OK. I'm trying to deal with System-X right now, but I'll take this under advisement. After I get the sucker out, how do I clean it so I don't have any little chunks of threadlock in there so I can teflon it and make a good seal?
