    X-Valve/lvl10 prob

Ok well i searched but I fund nothing on this problem so here it is.

Im sitting here trying to instal my new valve. It works it shoots. I out something in front of the bolt and the bolt doesnt stop like it should

So i started doign the "instal disc" procedures but their allready was a well fitting non-leaking carrier in the Power Tube.

I cant figure out whats going on here.

Has anyone ahd an X-valve and care to tell me how to do this?

I'm not an expert at level 10 (I'm still fine tuning mine), but are you sure that you have the carrier in in the correct direction? I believe it might make a difference if put in backwards. Do you have all the correct o-rings in? I would double check your setup. If you have everything correct, try a longer spring (if you have the smallest or medium spring in).

How many shims do you have in? Also, when you put something in front of the bolt, be sure to put it close to the bolt, if not touching it. That is where the bolt would stop on a paintball.

Chances are you're putting your object too far away from the bolt. You need to put your finger up against the face of the bolt and hold it there. Don't put so much pressure on the bolt face that it won't come forward, but just enough to keep it from pushing your finger to the other end of the breech.

The bolt should come forward, hiss, and then retract. If it hits your finger and doesn't retract, you need to add a shim.

Do not use shims unless you are having problems with the bolt not going back after it hits your finger.

If you are using the cut gray spring, make sure the cut end is at the base of the bolt.
