    Level ten problem.. again

    Hey

my problem- my marker acts like it isnt charged or it acts like its pinching when i shoot quickly with paint, or even while dry firing. it isnt shooting soft, +/- 280fps.

    setup
level ten retro vavle, 2 shims, medium spring, and the 1.5 carrier i believe
    aa rex tank, input 750
    freak barrel
    intelliframe
    pf/hl body

i thought it might be that the barrel is off center or my tank doesnt recharge fast enough. any input?

Does it do it while dry firing without the barrel?

    Try increasing the input pressure.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

athomas i tried increasing it to 850 or so, but to no avail.

No, with the short spring, you'll probably be chronoing in a little under what you were.

ok, i thought it would require more pressure to drive the medium spring or something..

              what is DUR?

Going from the gray spring to the short spring will increase the velocity.

Make sure that you're using the loosest carrier/o-ring fit that doesn't leak. Be sure to keep it oiled.

It does require more pressure to drive the medium spring. When you move to the smaller spring and don't change the velocity adjustment, you are maintaining the higher pressure on a spring that does not require it. The effect is that the shorter spring will stay compressed for a greater time than the longer one thus letting more air out behind the ball. More compressed air translates into higher velocity.
