    x-valve pressure question

this has undoubtubly benn asked but ive been reading posts for five hours and im tired

i have an x-valve run by a pure energy 3295psi tank preset to 850, my problem is when the tanks presure gauge reads about 1800psi it stops shooting, above thats its fine. i just assumed that this should not be being that a mags input pressue only needs to be 800. why does it stop shooting

in my tired state i just thought that the LX spring pressure is greater than the 1800psi but then agin its not 1800psi coming out of the power tube its substantialy less so as long as the tanks pressure is above 800 it should work
    right?

    please help

    thansk everyone
BTW i just had the gauge replaced so im pretty shure its not a gauge problem though it could be.

Where the hell did you get 3295psi?

I'm going with what Tuna said, try a new gauge

            ile try the gauge,
and i got the 3295 tank at my local store it was a little cheeper cause people where like what the hell but apparently even though its a fiber tank it has a five year hydro req on it instead of three like on a norm 3k

I've also got a PMI Pure Energy tank, and I think my gauge is crazy too. It never registers the full 3000 when I fill it. [it goes back down to about 2600 after it cools down a tad --slow fill--] but it still goes kaput properly about 600psi.

Goofy tank, I dont like it.

Any tank is going to show about that much less after it cools down from a fill up. I usually lose about 500psi when my 68/45 tank cools.

That really sucks about all that air loss.. i'm going to have to compensate with a bigger tank. Once that saftey comes off, I cant keep the balls from flying at other players.. I mean I do all I can to restrain myself.. but it just doesnt work [grin]
