AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
alright, well i just changed hte carrier in my xalve to .5 cuz i had a barrel leak and nwo when i screw in my nitro it will not fire
i am thinkign go to the next highest carrier
i oiled it like a mofo and it still dont work, the lil silver thing behind the trigger that pushes back the trigger in mech mode doesn't come out whrn i put the n2 in
I does sound like bolt stick though, try going up in carrer sizes untill it leaks and then go down 1 size. This should get you headed in the right direction.
As in the X-valve comes with the LVL 10 of course. LVL10 has 3 springs. The red one is your stiffest. Silver is middle. And brass is stock spring.
I belive that's how it goes, I'll have to double check.
But any ways, put in your brass looking spring. Because the combination of how tight the O-ring is, along with the spring strenght pushing back on the bolt. That can make it stick.
Of course, you might also want to increase your pressure. Turn the velocity up first, see what happens. Pressure might just be too low.
Which spring are you using?
How many shims are you using?
Which carrier were you using before you made the switch to the .5?
First, remove all shims.
Then put in the shortest spring.
Go with the largest carrier that doesn't leak.
Once you find the proper carrier, you can go to a longer spring and tune the gun to be softer. I wouldn't worry about adding shims.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
