The saftey that won't budge. (EMAG)

I love my emag, but when I have the safety on, it is near impossible to turn it off. It requires alot of pressure to disengage. whats up?

I had the same problem with my ULE Emag. All you need to do is take the safety out and slowly snip some of the spring off until it's easy enough to turn the safety on or off. Good luck, PM me with any more questions.

YOu have to remove the grip frame from the mag and then move the sear to get to it.

***Note*** when pushing the sear out be aware of the little hole on the right side of the frame Under that hole, below the saftey pin is a spring with a tiny ball. Carelessly pulling the saftey out will cause the ball to fire out and potental loss is likley. (I know I did it 2 times at AO-Austin in Clares' house)

Anyhow remove the saftey and clear off whatever the obstruction is that is not letting it travel down the spring hole. Both times I fixed this problem it was minor debris.

Then carefully reinstall the spring and ball assy and push down from the top on it with a tiny allen stock.

Use your 4th and 5th arms (or a friend) to push the saftey pin back in place as you carefully transfer the balls retention from the allen stock to the saftey (see above note!)

            try it out and whallah!

Reassemble the rest of your mag :P
