    E-Mag missing shots

When I start firing really fast my e-mag doesn't fire when I pull the trigger. I think I know why too. There is a little silver thing that sticks out of the grip frame that looks like it senses the trigger pull. However, when I pull the trigger it bounces up and down.

I think what happens is the little silver thing will only fire when its below. So when I pull the trigger and its up it doesn't work.

Does this sound like it makes any sense at all? Why would my e-mag not fire as quickly as I pull the trigger? Thanks.

The little silver thing is the end of the trigger rod - pushing back on that fires the gun in manual mode.

With the electrics on in either E or hybrid mode, the hall effect sensor (the little black square section behind the trigger) fires the gun. In E mode the trigger rod does nothing at all, in hybrid mode it kicks the trigger forward.

Sounds to me like your trigger magnet might be dialled in slightly too far. Get an allen wrench and dial the trigger magnet (the one right in the centre of the trigger, on the hump) out slightly (try a half turn anti-clockwise).

If it's dialled in too much it might be that the magnet isn't moving far enough away from the hall effect sensor after each pull, so only complete trigger releases will make it fire.

Ah ok, is it supposed to be that you need to let the trigger fully return before firing?

If you've not already been here, you might want to check this out (very good stuff): http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...threadid=83104

From my understanding, regardless of the trigger stroke length, the trigger must move far enough away (forward) from the hall effect sensor to allow it to reset for the next firing cycle.
