Minor Problem - warp interface cable

I'm repairing a friends warp interface cable, it seems that the male plug became disconnected (seperated) from the wiring. I've noticed that my cable is different from his, in that, there is an extra plug which is identical to one found on the E-mag board.

Is there anyone that can identify this for me, and what it's function is?

the extra plug is for angels.

you can plug into an angel board and then plug the angel 'noid into the cable.
