all you ned is a screw in nitrogen tank. Most of them have standard ASA threading. You could also take off your current asa and get a non-screw in tank. Then all you would need to do is buy a drop for it and screw in your micro fitting. Generally screw in tanks are cheaper. If I were you I would get a flatline. The 4.5k's are coming out soon and they include a firly nice sized drop thta would clear your foregrip.

hmmmmmm almost the same thing and thy are compatible. N2 tanks use compressed air OR nitrogen.

aha....cheers i thought N2 was for nitro and HPA was for air (doh!) =]

so what brands should i go for, in a quality / price ratio?

              thx

70% of the air you breath is nitro so it really doesn't matter whether you ou nitro or compressed air in a HPA tank.

As for brands: PMI is just about the cheapest, new tanks you can get with a 48ci/3000psi tank going for about a hundred bucks.

IMO, PMI or AGD's flatline are the best tanks around.

As they said on the P8ntballer forum (which is where i first read your post just stumbbled across it here) you need to get a reg to put on the bottle.

                        no need really

PMI tanks are becoming prety high quality. i just bought a 48 over the weekend, it was consistent, very consistent, and i was getting 500 shots from it, even while hammering away. no need to invest in an expensive tank, you'll just have to rehydrotest, and someday it will fail and you'll be out more cash. PMIs are great

I purchased a PMI 88ci 4500psi tank Saturday. The tank is fantastic. I was able to shoot faster and not have to take recharge brakes while playing.

I paid $250 and I know I could have gotten it for cheaper online but I am loyal to the field I play on.

The tank is worth the cash.

The only change I made on the gun was the removal of the expansion chamber and I installed some stainless steel elbows to replace the older brass ones.

Stainless steel braided lines were replaced with HP hose.

I also changed the loader to a revolution and upgraded to the x-board sunday.

Gun shoots great. Lets see if the loader will keep up.

Actually its almost 79% Nitrogen and 21% Oxygen. But the rest is right. They are interchangable for PB use.
