I just visited 2 seperate dealerships, Pevs and Check It Paintball in northern virginia. Check it is listed as an official airgun designs dealer on the airgun website.
I inquired about the Automag RTpro at both stores, and was immediately told they did not carry them. Pevs stated they did not sell them anymore, and even when they did they all had issues. I pretty much passed that off as past news since they are not listed on the website as an official dealer.
Checkit is another story. I inquired about Automags and was specifically told they would not carry the RT due to design issues. The RT pro was put into the same category in terms of problematic markers. I inquired about the emag, and it was also lumped into the same group. They currently sell plain mags as far as I can tell.
They redirected me to some other guns like the intimidator etc, but at this point I have not made a decision on where I am going.
What does everyone make of this, and if airgun would like to respond to me publicly or privately I would appreciate it.
