why won't my retro valve shoot fast?!?!

My retro valve has never shot any faster than A.I.R. valve, meaning I never get the "trigger bounce" thing going.
Ive tried 3 different adjustable tanks all at pressures high enough to run my friends retro's just fine, but not mine. I just replaced everything with a parts kit hoping that might help but it didnt.

Im at my wits end, is there anything else I can try before I contact AGD?

Its possible you might need a shorter on/off pin. I'm not going to tell you to go modify your on/off pin, possibly screwing it up, but it worked for me, the shorter the pin gets, the more reactive. Just dont shave it down too much or it will go full auto. If thats not an approved method by blackVCG or some other tech, I say dont do it unless you have an extra pin. Also, dont get carried away. Too much reactivity might cause premature wear even though im not entirely sure.
