new mag owner, need advice badly

I've always wanted a killer high end mag, but with my limited funds I was intrigued with the nice looking deals on Ebay... Big mistake... Long story short, I purchased this mag and now I don't know what's wrong with it. To outline my problem:

    1. It came with an old school nitro system; one of Nitro Ducks earlier productions. The Regulator/Valve is attached to a cradle which you then screw the N2 tank into. Problem is that I'm pretty sure the Reg is busted. Now the Tank is fine, but the threading is 1/8th inch, whereas my CO2 tank has 1/16 inch threads, so the N2 doesn't fit into the standard ASA. Is there an adapter that can receive 1/8 inch threading from the bottle and convert it to standard to then be put into a bottomline? Or do any Regulators on market take 1/8'' threads? I need to get a new Reg in any case. Any suggestions on a good one?

    2. The mag uses a RT valve, what is the correct PSI to input to it? So when I do get the Reg nothing bad happens to the valve.

    Thanks for your help.

if you look around you can pick up a new nitro tank...adjustable 68/4500's for about $200
probably will be your best bet
especially if you have an rt valve...
the pressure can be anywhere from about 650-950 psi
for a decent adjustable tank i'd say the nitro duck xstream(you can get cheaper from freeflow)

or an air america raptor rex

if you bother with the tank you have...since it's older it's probably a 3000psi...you might have to get it hydro'd
    it's probably a 3 year hydro..the new ones are 5 year...
and by the time you find a new reg that works with that tank... you really aren't saving much...

      Potential Answer

You stated that the REG looks to be broken and the ASA threads for this REG are not compatible. I had an 114ci 3000psi tank that had reverse threads from Smart Parts on it. I wanted an ASA compatible tank with REG so I called Crossfire, They make tanks and REGS, and asked them if they could put on an 850psi preset REG on the Tank and they said to send it in. I got a great deal and basically and new tank. You could also call Nitro Duck and have them set you up with one of their new REGs that are ASA compatible. Hope this helps.

an addition to the crossfire one...crossfire will install one of THEIR regs on your tank (any make or model) for $65 + SH....awesome deal. Air America has a similar program for their regs too...
