    Couple questions... old mini retrofit!

OK... I finally got my minimag in the mail, and it has some problems.

The first time I gassed it up it was leaking all over and shooting really wierd, so I realized that it needed some work first. So I took it apart, lubed some things, cleared some obstructions, and gassed it up again.

I dry fired it a few times, and it sounded a whole lot better then it had before... no leaks, and very quiet on every shot.

So I put a ball in it, shot, and nothing happened, the ball didn't go anywhere! I took the ball out, pulled the trigger a few times, and the bolt looked like it was only moving about 1/16th of the way into the breech...

So I took it apart again, looked at everything and put it back together. I then realized that it was most likely that I ran out of air.

So I put A different tank on... and when I did it sounded like it gassed up nicely, but the trigger didn't lock into place like it had done before. It was limp. I turned off the on/off, degassed it, and Co2 sprayed everywhere, like it hadn't gone anywhere, and was just stuck in the on/off or the reg or something... maybe I had the velocity too high or low, but it didn't vent out the back or anything.

I then put that tank on another marker, and it worked fine.

Anyone have any ideas of what might be going on?

Also, how do you disconect the quick disconnect?

If it works fine, dont worry about it....

to remove a QD, you have to pull the sleeve on the female end back. The same motion that pulls the sleeve back should separate the two halves.

kinda hard to follow but i think your velocity needs turned up sounds like you took it apart and when you put it back together you didnt tighten the reg adjustment down far enough.
