well, i have a catalog with all paintball stuff and in the section HP accesoires there are 2 different types of hoses. Macrohose or powerhose. and I don't know the difference.

maybe one is more resistant or stronger or thicker . I don't know

okay I'm assuming its talking about macroline and steelbraided hose.

macroline comes in a several colors and are more flexable.

steelbraided is doesn't have the colorful appearence and is alot stronger and durable.

I've heard of macroline rupturing before especially while using co2.

is the hose in the pic what the catalog refers to as "powerhose?"

Microline, (1/8"o.d tubing) has much smaller diameter than Macroline (1/4o.d. tubing) I forgot the i.d. measurments!! In some cases, like shooting long strings and such, microline may not have the flow rate you need, and may starve your gun!!! There are a few on this board that will argue with me on that one, but microline line is just too small!!! Just go Macro and don't take any chances!!! Hope this helps!!!
P.S. The only time I've seen Macroline burst has been a tank reg malfunction, or it was used with CO2!!

yep. Macroline really isn't as fragile as people say it is. If you want something that will last you 20 years, get steel braid. If you're a normal person, macroline is fine (and it comes in COLORS
