Well, after over 30000 rounds fired through the emag and many thousands of dry fires, my middle spring is worn out on my level 10 kit.
I first noticed when I was demonstrating to some new paintballers about the ability of the level 10 mag to be nice and gentle on paint. I stuck my finger in the breach and fired. It was a little more aggressive than normal and the bolt didn't reset as well. It vented but was slow reseting. At first I though the carrier was too tight so I went to the next larger carrier. It worked better but still was harder on the finger than I remembered it and still seemed a little slow returning. I scratched my head. Then I took the bolt out and noticed the spring looked a little shorter than normal. When I compared it to a new middle spring, it was over 1/4" shorter. It had less spring in it than the normal short spring.
I put the longest spring in and upped the chamber/velocity pressure and everything is working fine again. I was wondering what the long term efects of use would be on the level 10 bolt springs. Now I know.
